About amyg.ai

Most anxiety apps focus on short-term relief. amyg.ai is designed to help you change the thought patterns driving your anxiety — so over time, you rely less on coping tools and gradually experience more lasting calm.

For years, the mental health app space has been dominated by the same approach: breathe deeply, meditate, journal your feelings, and hope the anxiety passes. These tools are comforting. They're gentle. But they don't work to solve anxiety at its core.

Not because they're poorly designed — but because they're solving the wrong problem.

Anxiety isn't a feeling that needs to be managed. It's a misfiring alarm system that needs to be retrained. And the only way to retrain it is through exposure — facing the thing your brain is afraid of, gradually and deliberately, until it learns the threat was never real.

Our platform has been built using 60 years of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) research. CBT is the most clinically validated approach to anxiety that exists. It's what some licensed therapists use. It's what the research supports. And until now, it's been almost impossible to access outside of a therapist's office.

We built amyg.ai because the alternative wasn't good enough.

The mental health crisis isn't just a supply problem — it's an access, cost, and trust problem. Millions of people live with anxiety they've never addressed, not because they don't want help, but because therapy is expensive, time-consuming, and requires opening up to a stranger about your deepest fears. A single session can cost $150–$300. Wait times are measured in weeks or months. And even when people find a therapist, there's no guarantee they'll feel safe enough to be honest.

And when they turn to apps? They get validated, soothed, and sent back into the world with the same triggers still loaded. No real work. No lasting change.

amyg.ai is different.

It doesn't just listen to you — it challenges you. It doesn't just help you feel better in the moment — it helps you rewire the response so the anxiety stops firing in the first place. And it doesn't reset between sessions like every other chatbot — it remembers your story and tracks whether you're actually getting better over time.

We use a proprietary AI model built from the ground up around CBT methodology — not a general-purpose chatbot retrofitted to sound therapeutic. Every conversation follows a structured clinical protocol. Every session ends with micro-challenges — real behavioral tasks designed to create new neural pathways and weaken old panic responses.

This is neuroplasticity in action. This is how anxiety actually changes.
